Iris Senior Living is proud to announce we have been approved by the OK State Department of Health to offer a Long Term Care Nurse Aide Training Competency and Evaluation Program! 

Iris Senior Living Academy (Program Code 3750056) is offering a training opportunity for those interested in getting certified as a Long Term Care Aide (also known as Certified Nursing Assistant) in the state of Oklahoma.

This is a two-week training program with in-person classes offered at our NW OKC location Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. After training is completed, trainees will be required to take a written and skills exam the following week also at our NW OKC location. The address of the NW OKC location is 12000 N MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73162. 

This program is offered at no cost to participants if two requirements are met: 

• The trainee passes the skills and written exams to be listed as an active LTC Aide on the OK Nurse Aide Registry
• The trainee agrees to work for an Iris Memory Care location for at least 6 months

Should either of these requirements not be met, the trainee will be charged $500 for the cost of class and testing. 

Spring 2024 dates of class are scheduled for April 8th - 12th and April 15th - 19th from 8:30am - 5:00pm each day. 

The class will be offered to no more than 12 trainees at a time, and selection to participate in the program is at the sole discretion of Iris Senior Living.
